GATEWAY KIDS BUDDIES

We are proud to announce a  new program specially designed for our special needs families. Gateway Kids Buddies is a Sunday morning ministry that breaks down barriers for special-needs children, allowing them to participate in Children’s Ministry alongside their peers. We do so by pairing each child with their own “buddy”. Our buddies are trained to know and meet each child’s needs to make worship accessible for children of all abilities. This ministry allows families freedom to attend adult worship and build community while confident that their child’s needs are being met.

The Meadow is our age specific ministry area for nursery kids birth through 2 years old. Every Sunday, babies and young toddlers experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.

When packing a diaper bag for your child, please include the following things:

Two or Three diapers (no cloth diapers, please)

A complete change of clothes

For 0-12 months, a bottle of milk, formula or juice

Pacifier or blanket (for comfort)

We provide snacks for children 7 mos – Kindergarten unless otherwise directed by parents. These snacks consist of Cheerios, goldfish, animal crackers, and fruit snacks. The only drink we provide is water.

If your child has a food allergy, please inform our team at Check-In. It will be entered into the system and noted on his/her name tag. Also, please write it on the sign-in sheet when you drop-off your child into his/her class.

The woodlands is our age specific ministry for preschool and Kindergarten students. In our Gateway Kids Woodlands classrooms, we create an environment for kids to learn God’s Word in a fun, exciting, and age-appropriate way. We strive to help form the first building blocks of a strong, Jesus-centered foundation for our children. Every Sunday, these children experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.

A jacket for cooler weather is helpful for when we may go outside to play or in case of emergency.

We provide snacks for our Woodlands kids unless otherwise directed by parents. These snacks consist of goldfish, animal crackers, and/or fruit snacks. The only drink we provide is water.

At The Summit we use a fun and interactive environment to teach and disciple your child with worship, age-appropriate lessons, games and small group time for them to connect with kids their same age. Our Summit volunteers are passionate about seeing your elementary child take their next step toward Jesus.

Play clothes are always welcome! The Summit is a fun, active environment. Your kids will be playing, singing, and dancing as they learn about Jesus in small groups and large groups.

If your child has any special needs, please inform our Gateway Kids team at check-in. We periodically have snacks in the elementary groups. You are always welcome to bring a personal snack for your kids.

Please let us know of any helpful information concerning your child's special needs. We strive to create an environment where all kids are welcome! If there is anything we can to do assist your child, relay any helpful hints to one of our Summit volunteers!
